Bryan "Sage" Rill
Dr. Bryan "Sage" Rill is a UX researcher and Co-Founder of the Eliad Group, a consulting team that aims to transform people and organizational cultures, by design. He is interested in helping create more conscious and sustainable products, services, communities, and organizations. Bryan leverages a unique background in anthropology, design, and human potential to help people and organizations meet their goals.
As a creative catalyst, he designs and delivers co-creative programs for communities and organizations. As a researcher, he helps organizations understand users and cultures they wish to impact. As an instructor, he teaches anthropology, design strategy, and creative leadership for those interested in driving innovation. And as a coach, he cultivates core capacities such as dynamic awareness, dialogue, and intuition—which together facilitate personal and creative breakthroughs.
Originally trained as an anthropologist, Bryan then taught design psychology at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a top design school in Asia. He directs the Co-Creation Initiative, and co-founded the Eliad Group consultancy to bring co-creative innovation to organizations.
His work stems from over two decades of inquiry into human cultures, consciousness, and creative processes— a journey that has taken him from exploring and designing transformative media environments to training with monks in the mountains of Japan. Bryan is constantly exploring new ways of knowing and being. He is author of a design and leadership guidebook titled The Art of Co-Creation: A Guidebook for Practitioners.
